Use Exit 22B, Grand Central Parkway West. We encourage the use of public transportation whenever possible.įrom West and midtown Manhattan: Take the Midtown Tunnel to the Long Island Expressway. The Museum offers free parking but space is limited. We encourage you to take the train at Mets-Willets Point or 103 Street – Corona Plaza. Please note: all Manhattan bound 7 trains will be skipping the 111th Street station through October 2023. You will see the USTA National Tennis Center on your left. Follow the path, past the garden roundabout and over the highway. Walk south towards 49th avenue and take a left into the Park. You can also get off at the 111th Street subway stop. You will notice a large globe called the Unisphere. Stay to the right and walk down a long path with trees, the tennis courts will be on your right side. You will see a large circular space at the entrance into the park. When you exit the train at Mets-Willets Point, you can walk down the boardwalk towards Flushing Meadows Corona Park. Your stop is Mets-Willets Point, the second to last stop on the 7 train. Take #7 Train in the direction of Flushing, Queens.
